Tao has finally come into her own

She will nnow, lay next to me, and the other night she laid on my chest and I could cover her with the blanket. She is starting to like me. Her favorite spot though it sleeping with Maggie.. very odd.

Hello Uterus!

Obviously by the title you can tell that I am not talking about bacon today, nor am I talking about planting or photography so if you are a normal male you might want to move on. I am on the phone now, on hold with my doctor's office. They have not called me to tell me everything that is going to happen and to tell me that I am being over cautious and extremely difficult right now. I am waiting for them to tell me what to expect and why the hell I am going to be off work for 6 weeks. I don't quite understand the entire process and since I am paying for it, I should be getting color by number steps of exactly what they are going to do. I am not difficult in any means. i just want to request that someone hold my hand through the entire procedure and whisper sweet nothings in my ear and watch for tears coming out of my eyes in case I am still awake during the procedure. Yes, I know I watch too much television, but hey at least if it does happen I know exactly what to do right? So ...

2nd Draft of Beginning

  Not even 6:00am and she had already produced so much sweat, and so thick that when she scratched her arm, flakes would fall off. The day was proving to be a record breaker. She was looking forward to working inside with the air conditioning.  She still had about an hours worth of digging ahead of her.  She took off her hat and used the arm of her shirt to wipe the sweat off of her forehead.  Instant burning of the eyes, she winced and cussed under her breath.  Her hat fell to the ground as she took her water bottle and squirted the water in her eyes full force for instant relief.  She wasn't even thinking of the tiny granules getting into her eyes, she made sure not to rub her eyes, she just kept blinking til she felt relief. Wiping the water off of her face, she knelt down and picked up her hat and got back to work.  Her long hair was pulled back into a ponytail and her bangs stuck to her face.  She was sure she looked like a million bucks....
